Facebook: Alive, Dying, or Dead?

Facebook has surpassed many guesses of its influential lifespan, but is it slowly dying or even dead? The simple answer is no. Facebook is still very much alive. Although your posts may be seen by fewer people than in the past, the same is also happening to your competitors. Of course numbers are a big part of spreading brand awareness, and seeing a decrease in numbers is anything but promising, it just means you need to try harder. The people who would buy your product are out there, they are just becoming harder to reach because of all the components that go into what shows up on their newsfeed. To reach more people, try focusing on content marketing. Two types of content marketing are where you share interesting articles or infographics, these two are the most effective of all content marketing. Because Facebook has an easy way to “share” articles and other items, it will be used more often and more people will see the article. Not only is Facebook great for leading customers to your website, but it is also great for leading them to your other social media pages. Depending on what type of business you run, certain social media websites will work better for you. For example, if you can develop a step by step that includes your product, you should use Pinterest. If you have a product where you can come up with catchy things to say about it, you should use Twitter. No matter what type of product or service you sell, Facebook is always necessary to have.
